Layout Update #3 - Construction and Destruction

This month I finish a wall, replace a door, and emphasize the importance of finishing the layout room before beginning the benchwork.

  1. Looks good, Matt! 👍 It's difficult to finish the layout room first when you are itching to build a layout (speaking from experience). My old basement layout didn't last long due to building it before finishing the room. You did it the right way. I'm looking forward to seeing the layout build!

  2. Hey great job keeping your goals before you build. Im sure your putting up benchwork and track now. I enjoy your video blog so keep them coming. Your original layout helped fuel the fire to do a modern shelf switcher once I got real with my constraints. Now that i am building I am already trying to add more! And yes its a expensive damn hobby. You only buy the gun once, you can only build the Harley motor so much, but railroads keep on going!
